About Dr. Delia Manjoney
Ranked among the top ophthalmology doctors in Connecticut two years in row by Connecticut Magazine, and since 1997 by Castle and Connelly, “ Best Doctors in the New York Metropolitan Area”, Dr. Delia Manjoney is an ophthalmologist with over 33 years of experience in medicine. She is in private practice and is the Chief of Ophthalmology at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Bridgeport, CT. Dr. Delia Manjoney has a number of extensive academic achievements to her credit. After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Roanoke College, Salem, VA, Dr. Manjoney completed her medical degree at the University Of Vermont College Of Medicine, Burlington, VT. She is a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Manjoney completed her internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of Texas Children’s Medical Center, and did several months of a fellowship at UCSF, before deciding to pursue a change in specialty. She did her Ophthalmology residency at Edward Harkness Eye Institute in New York. Upon completion of her residency, she joined her father in practice in Bridgeport, CT, specializing in cataract surgery, glaucoma and dry eye, diabetic eye care, general ophthalmology, and aesthetic and eye plastic surgery. Dr. Manjoney is recognized for her achievements and insight in cornea, retina, glaucoma, pediatrics, dry eye and oculoplastics. Dr Manjoney has been affiliated with leading medical and academic centers.
